National Grid Gas Distribution renamed

National Grid Gas Distribution has been renamed as Cadent following the sale of a majority stake in the distribution business to an international consortium. The firm owns and operates four gas networks in North London, the East and North West of England and the Western Midlands. They together serve roughly half of all connected households in the UK. Cadent will continue to manage the national gas emergency number on behalf of all gas distribution networks.
