Guidance on registering energy devices

On 31 March 2021, BEIS published guidance for small businesses (and homes) on when to register energy devices with the distribution network.

What does this mean to the end-user?

The guidance relates to solar photovoltaic (PV), heat pumps, electric vehicle (EV) chargepoints and battery storage
It steps through when these devices need to be registered, the requirements on installers and the funding that may be available for them
End users installing these devices should ensure that they (and their contractors) are aware of the actions they should take
